America is the home of the Lindy Hop! Our Friday Swing Dances are an opportunity for us to spend time sharing this cultural pastime with our community and as such, are open to the public. There is a free beginner lesson available from 7-7:30. This lesson is designed to accommodate little to no experience with dancing. You can come with a partner, group, or solo. The social dancing runs from 8-10pm, with a $10 admission. The Victrola Dance Hall facilitates a social environment. Rotating deejays provide music suitable for swing dancing. Attendees are encouraged to invite each other for dances throughout the night, which is a great way to build friendships and practice skills. Dancers are encouraged to accept or decline invitations as they wish.
*This is a family-friendly social. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
